Here is the link to the Clinton Global Initiative's University Student Meeting in April. They do provide some financial assistance for travel based on whether students can afford to attend. Mostly, this money is used for students from developing countries. They will provide meals for all attendees for the three days. They also negotiate discounted hotel rates for the students; there are also several hostels which are relatively inexpensive for students (e.g. $20-30 per night). The link is here:

The idea is that individual students or groups of students develop a "commitment" or a project to make change in one of the focus areas at the local level where they live. It may be of interest to some of the students you have been working with through all of the great peace initiatives you are involved with. Here is the description for the Peace and Human Rights section:
Peace & Human Rights In the face of genocide, violence against women and children, and other grave human rights abuses around the world, students are increasingly speaking up and taking action. Using their communities, creativity, and technology, students continue to empower and assist those suffering throughout the world. Students have brought about the divestment of endowments and pension funds in 25 states and at eight universities from companies doing business with the genocidal regime in Sudan. What started out as one young woman setting out to raise funds to support 31 women in the Democratic Republic of Congo through a lone 30-mile run has now become an international effort with thousands running to end the crisis.
In the Peace & Human Rights working sessions, student activists were connected with leaders in the human rights community and given the information needed to help bring change to those who need it most.
